Any Cook Worth Her Whisk Knows That A Lot
More Flour Can Be Squeezed Into A Cup If It Is
Pressed Down, Shaken Around And Heaped Over
The Top.
That's The Kind Of Measure God Uses When He Gives
Back To Us After We've Given Generously To Others,
Including To Those We Are Prone To Judge And Condemn.
He Even Promises To Pour Out Enough So That It Will Spill Into
Our Laps.
Now, If You Were Shopping In A Street Market In Old Galilee, Would
You Go To The Vendor Who Had A Cup With A False Bottom So He
Or She Could Give You Less Than You Asked For?
Or Would You Go To The Vendor You Know Would Press, Shake, Heap
And Pour On Some More?
Ask God If You've Dealt With Anyone Lately Out Of A Stingy Heart.
How Can You Instead Be Generous Beyond Expectation?
