COMMENTARY:
As I read some local news I came across an article that focused on the new social media raiding in with the offices of church ministry. Although I'm certain much of this isn't new, but the growth of church social networks are on the rise! Now many church organizations offer ministries and communication with social media set in place. Most can reach a broader audience and Pastors and preachers are finding the church is turning into the digital age. Many churches here in my hometown, as well as across the country and even nations are using Twitter, Facebook and their own social sites to reach the new communication age today. It's not uncommon that a church leader will have a web internet connection, along with cell phones and e-mail for reminders and upcoming events in addition to spreading the gospel. Wherever they can reach people to know about God you'll find that social media will not be exempt from finding it's way to spread out religions and or the word. This conversion is on the increase and will likely remain around. These congregations mean to keep up with the newest generation of the digital people..
Now that WWW could stand for "We're With Word."
What do you think about that?
