MEDITATE SUNDAY: PRACTICE WHAT TO SPEAK (500 hits)

The tongue can be so unruly! Speaking words of wisdom one moment, and cursing and defiled the next! Often you'll find people who speak such ungodly things with their mouth. Then in quickness of moments their mouth is filled with words of kindness and love. However, God teaches us that meditation of good speech can be obtained with practices of what to speak at all times. These are the meditation of your mouth. You of course, must again make meditation of your mouth to speak and remain in pleasing words that are acceptable to God. Words that a quiet are less likely to stir anger and words that are loud and boisterous can easily arrive to a time trouble.

If you are acquiring to tame your tongue to speak softly and righteous things, then your meditation should also reflect what is truly in your heart. For your mouth will say what is in your thought process. You cannot tame the tongue, but you can practice the heart to become to speak truth, honesty and with words of purity and love. You can also pray continually to practice to speak godly thoughts. Your speech within is the meditation of words from your mouth.

These Proverbs & Ecclesiates show examples for your speaking practices:

"A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold
in pictures of silver."
[Proverbs: 25:11]

"A fool uttereth all his mind, but a wise man
keepeth it in till afterwards."
[Proverbs: 29:11]

"A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to
keep silence, and a time to speak."
[Eccl 3:7]

"The words of wise men are heard in quiet
more than the cry of him that ruleth among
fools."
[Eccl 9:17]

Meditate and practice your speaking, that you may have words from your mouth that are not profane, not evil, but are righteous from the heart as you purify you heart to speak things true and pleasing unto men showing that God is inside you and controls all that you say silently and openly.

"Let the words of my mouth the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight O' Lord my strength and my redeemer."
[Psalm: 19:14]
