DISCRIMINATION AGAINST THE UN-EMPLOYED GOES DEEPER THAN RACE (245 hits)

The savage brutality today toward the unemployed is increasing by the day. All over the United States, employers continually discriminate not only because of age, gender or race they now use credit scores, religion, and even being unemployed as reason enough to keep one from landing a job. The recent suit filed against a chain of Restaurants is just the latest instance where many of today's employers are taking advantage of the current economic crisis. This is a really timely article and thanks for posting. Many businesses are like the GOP in their party philosophy want small govt just like they want small payrolls where their employees are concerned with less doing more for less. ... if you get what I mean. It's a sad reality. Since when has been unemployed been a reason not to give someone looking for a job ... a JOB?!

Hi MIISRAEL, watching rev. al's program today there was a segment taht may just fit here...it seem 'employment' is a threat to(some) big as well as small business'. It seem that governor Perry vetoed a bill sent to him that would provide living wages of $8:00 and hour in his state. (smile)
