No film is ever really complete without the presence of an eccentric, yelling black man. Iconic actor Samuel L. Jackson has cashed in on that fact for years now, but the actual numbers behind his successful run are in and they may be higher than most realize. How much skrill has Sam raked in over his 20-year-run? Try $7.4 billion, a number that makes him the highest-grossing actor in Hollywood history and affording him a place in the Guinness Book of World Records. Factor in sure-to-be blockbuster hits The Avengers and Django Unchained dropping in 2012 and that impossibly high number is only getting fatter.
Seriously though, good for him. Say what you will about the movies he picks, but he dominates the screen like few others.
