As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches twin sisters visited Memphis to celebrate with their aunt and uncle. Things changed soon after one of twin women landed up in the hospital because of a hit and run driver. The 25 year Californian twin, Shanelle Jones was struck by a vehicle at East Holmes near Branch where she was crossing the street to go to a local corner store. Witness claimed the driver stopped and picked up some debris off the street, but left the struck victim lying in a state of emergency without aid. The family hurried to the scene after hearing of the serious accident. Now in the hospital, the twin patient is said to have strong vital signs, but is in critical condition. Doctors are concerned of health because she shows none responsive signs to her name. However, having hearing of the bad news the grandmother had to make an earlier arrival than Christmas from California to Memphis. In a somewhat twin of a story, the grandmother had only suffered a heart attack days before the accident, and told local news sources that she also raised the twins because both lost their parents during their childhood. One of thier parents was killed in a drive by shooting, and the grandmother’s brother killed in auto acciden and her 5 year son was struck and killed in Memphis by a driver. Now, this similar twin affect of tragedies striking the heart of the family again. The family is urging whoever is responsible for striking the twin sister to come forth. The accident occurred on Monday, November 14, 2011.

A mother of twin her daughters stopped for gas at the intersection of Holmes Rd and Knight Arnold Rd Friday morning, November 18, 2011 only realizing shortly after leaving the keys in the ignition attracted a car thief. News sources said the mother left the vehicle unattended with the daughters still in the back seat. The car thief took off with them and decided to drop them off at a local corner not far from the gas station. Though shaken up the twins were released without harm. The thief then continued his drive, and has not be located nor, the van. The mother and the twins were happy to be reunited, but mom was charged with a misdemeanor for leaving the twins alone. The CHC is investigating the case of neglect and the mom may have to face alleged charges of child neglect in court.

"Yummy! but not for this tummy…"
Police in Horn Lake, Mississippi are looking for a suspect who stole a credit card and went on a shopping spree spending over $5000. The woman crook took the swipe from a purse at a crowded Cracker Barrel store on October 31, 2011 and set off swiping a stolen credit card within an hour’s time spending and buying hundreds of gift cards with amounts totaling in the thousands. The thief visited a local Mississippi Target Store chain and a Walmart Store before the electronic alert noticed and prompted her for identification. She swiped out the door in a dash! Now still at large, a camera caught the woman on tape leaving the Walmart store. Authorities are asking any information about the woman card thief to come forth. Fortunately, the victim of the theft will not be liable for the charges on their credit card since all purchases and the gift cards have been cancelled. The woman swiping woman is probably much disappointed of that cracker's crumblings....

"This is a stick up!!"
People in the small community of Collierville, Tennessee have never experienced such a stick up like this one!!
Three armed bandits held up their local Citgo Gas station on November 17, 2011. Witnesses said the owner of the location was on his way to make a bank deposit when he was approached by three men who robbed him on the store’s parking lot. Collierville’s police are in suspicion as to knowing how the robbers knew what was in the bag and the time of day of the bank deposit. The trio robbers have not been captured, and are considered dangerous. The suspects were last seen driving a black Pontiac. The amount of the total cash was about $9000.
