A children's store in Colorado has been forced to pull its range of crotchless underwear for children after sparking outrage among local parents.
Mother Erin French visited the new store at Greeley Mall, Kids N Teen, where she said kids' backpacks are on sale among princess dresses.
'Then we saw crotchless panties. And I was mortified,' she told Colorado's 9 News channel. 'My first initial response was "Am I really seeing that?"'

A grainy video that she filmed in the store on her cell phone shows pink and leopard-print thong panties with no crotches.
'They're sized to fit a seven-year-old - that's just totally inappropriate,' the mother-of-two said.
'There is one purpose for an item of that nature. And that is not something that we want to encourage for our girls,' said Mrs French.
The store defended its misguided choice by explaining that around 25 per cent of its range is targeted at teens.
With most teens falling well below the age of consent, the store's defence seems leaky.
The internet has flared up with expressions of anger over the store's sale of the items.
The programme reports that the store has only been open for two weeks and as such is 'still trying to figure out what to include as merchandise.'
