ENRICHMENTS FROM THE WORD
For childhood and youth are vanity...
GREETINGS WITH LOVE BLESSINGS!
Be it a strange word for some to connect,--but what exactly defines vanity? Vanity according to a webster's dictionary:
Vanity: : emptiness, worthlessness. any thing or act that is vain, futile or worthless. the quality or fact of bein vain, or excessively proud of oneself.
The Word defines vanity as a thing of youth and things done in one's youth can be mostly vain things. Since often many youths today suffer for mild to full blown cases of vanity the Word tells how youths and those who practice youthful things can overcome objects of vanities.
What are vain things? According to the Word:
Numerous as the sands vanities has hundreds upon hundreds of vessels. From gold, to silver, riches and pride. Sightful things that worldly lusts bring in pleasures. Vain thoughts of one self in one's heart. All these and many other things can become vanities.
[Enrichments is found away from vanities:]
Therefore, learning to recognize things of vanity youths and or adults alike can seek what are true enrichments to living a righteous and upright life which include things of God. Walks which are rejoicing in the mercy and fear of the Lord of Hosts. Thinking of heavenly things and God. Desiring goodness and doors of faith and truth with virtures in love, kindness, charity and longsufferings from your trials conquered by the Creator. These enrichments are far greater than youthful vanity. The enrichment teaches that pleasures of world and youthful vanities brings no pleasure to God and so knowing all hearts will judge what is in each heart. Thus, one should strip the love of vanities of youth and seek God in their early life keeping commandments of His laws of obedience. Enrichments of commandments out shine all vanities and keeping God's will will outlast any youthful deeds and followings of vanities. If vanities are futile and worthless. . . Enrichments from the Word is actually the only true treasures to have that never fades and is worthy treasures of God's promises.
Read, study, hear, and obey the Word.
Rejoice, O; young man, in your youth,
and let your heart cheer you in the days of
your youth;
Walk in the ways of your heart,
and in the sight of your eyes'
but know that for all these
God will bring you into judgment.
Therefore, remove sorrow from your heart,
and put away evil from your flesh,
For childhood and youth are vanity.
"Remember your creator befor the silver cord
is loosed.
Or the golden bowl is broken,
or the pitcher shattered at the fountain,
or the wheel broken at the well,
Then the dust will return to the earth as it was,
And the spirit will return to God who gave it.
"Vanity of vanities" says the Preacher,
"ALL IS VANITY."
