REV. SHARPTON BLASTS WISCONSIN GOV FOR BOGUS CLAIMS ON RECALL ELECTION (677 hits)

MSNBC, December 28, 2011 -- Al Sharpton laid into Republican Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin for, according to Sharpton, spewing 'bogus claims' on Fox News' morning show "Fox and Friends."

Wisconsin citizens have been gathering signatures in an effort to unseat the Republican governor. On Tuesday morning, Walker criticized Wisconsin's recall process for reportedly counting the signatures of false names, like Adolph Hitler and Mickey Mouse. Walker called the process whole process "pretty unusual."

According to Sharpton, Walker, who he referred to as "the right's favorite union-bashing governor," went on Fox News to "push" fraudulent claims.

"Let me clear something up, the process isn't unusual Governor," Sharpton said. "You just don't like it." Sharpton said that the signatures on the petition went through a review process and referenced a PolitiFact article that deemed the "counting false signatures" claim as "mostly-false."

"Walker thinks if he talks about fraud, we'll ignore the real story," Sharpton said. "the real story is more than 500,000 people have signed recall petitions. That's 94 percent of the total needed by mid-January. Governor Walker, did you think your bogus claims would make us forget voters want you out of office? Nice try."

Rich, Rich, Rich, it seem teh governor of Wisconsin can't even find aide and comfort on Fox any more. "I" have no idea what has come over Greta, but she threw a curve ball to the gov. yesterday and an even worst one to Rush Limbaugh today...you know one of theose Christ Matthews not allowing the talking points in as a means to an end...

the governor was talking bout how it is false about his coming into the governor's office by way of a recall...he said the one before him ahd not been recalled, but he had 'resigned'...and tis is what came next...

If he was saying the governor had not been recalled, but he had resigned for which came the long WELL, he did resign after the recall, but he resigned because he wanted to get the pention which he would not have gotten if it had been a recall...not good enough as the conversation in this interview with the governor to deny what the recall was saying about him having no problems with the powers of recall until he gets the same treatment...Oh Well, maybe he will resign???????? LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL??? (smile)
