FLORIDA GOP MAKES IT MITT, NEWT CAME IN SECOND THEN RICK AND RON (256 hits)

Mitt is pouring it on! With 46% of the votes he slammed Florida with the flood of voters. Newt says that means nothing and he's still in the competition. Holding second he's looking ahead and not behind that means that Mitt can have his moment; but it may be the Ging that takes over! As for Rick he's making the issues his mainstay and is making sure that all that pointing fingers is to no avail. He slid down to third place, but maintains he's not going anywhere too soon. Ron bumped once more to keep the interest to give all three of them as someone they all beat. He's not showing any detering either...just the voters aren't giving him their votes. AND They're off again the GOP campaign and candidates really has some fun moments which have rarely been dull. You'd think it may have been Mitt's singing "Old Beautiful"?

America! America!
God shared his grace on thee..
and crowned thy good with brotherhood
from sea to shining sea!
That tune kinda sticks with ya!

Obviously Romney is the Chosen One. Stupid choice. I guess I'll be voting for Obama.

Greetings Steve...I find the debating, voting and choosing winners and losers much to my entertainment. I watch and observed however, I'm somewhat convinced these are poor quality participants in the GOP race for the presidency. Strike that a vote for Obama from me too! Afterall, he hasn't any competition on the Democratic ticket!
Watch, pray, and even guess..for the best. Sorry about the rhyming..I so often do that [Smiles]

Hello Miisrael, entertaining yes, but it hurts to laugh. Empires rise and fall and I guess it's inevitable ours will too. But then again God has had a hand in all those empires so I will watch and pray.

Dear Irma, I was thinking about my conscience today as I wrote the above. I was distressed by our President's bragging about taking out Libya's sovereign government (I would not have guessed he'd turn out to be an advocate for war), and equally disappointed with the lack of professional journalism when NBC brought on Romney to counter the President's points. No other candidates were in the running I guess after 3 states had had their say. But then Time put him on the cover Jan. 16 and by all accounts he has already been chosen. But back to my conscience. We are forced to operate on the two party system, they will not have it any other way. So the sad truth is my write-in for Ron Paul would go to waste. So my conscience leads me to adopt a different approach, which is to cast my vote to counter one with the other. The Democrats were running amok, so I voted Republican. Now the Republicans all have their heads up their asses so we better keep our Democrat President. I know, I'm strange.

Of course when I say waste it isn't that he doesn't have a chance of winning but because write-ins are not even tallied.

I hear you Irma. But surely there must be many votes for the likes of Micky Mouse, Superman, and Steve Williams. How do you keep track of them all?

I agree Ron Paul won't give up, and I haven't yet either, really. But he will have to defeat the media and that's a tall order.

I admire your boundless energy my sister, as a true citizen of these united states. Plus, you make laugh!

No, I don't like everything about Ron Paul, just that he understands the dangers of the central bank and interventionist foreign policy. And yes he is grooming his son and I expect Rand will be prominent in our politics. He is young (though I haven't heard anyone voice a concern over his father's age, as they did with Reagan, who was only seventy), and I think he will be more flexible in his approach and not so rigidly principled as his father.

And I have learned to like our president more, mainly because of that "other side" you expound so well.

Oh, and why have I become more open-minded in my semi-advanced years? Only because I have so often been wrong in the past!

Ah, there is something about those old sayings. To be young again though, common sense or no.

Steve to be young again....I believe the Spirit within is always young and only our bodies age I think it's living that makes us more wiser at least for most of us, but to keep childlike qualities are still priceless no matter how old we get. Being wiser we know better, being younger we know innocence.

Yes Miisrael, and I think one of those old sayings goes something like... you are only as old as, or maybe, as young as... well I forget just how it goes, my memory ain't what it used to be. Joking aside though, yes innocence is one aspect of youth, not so easy to retain, but then there are optimism, energy and determination, all which come easier in youth but are not impossible with age. They are more like mental exercises. So I don't regret my "lost" youth, I do my best not to live in the past, but to look forward and have faith. And I look forward to my next life, whatever that may be, it is in God's hands.

Romney just opened his mouth again, in his poor people' comment. He stuck his foot in his mouth once again and Newt as expected will be using it to not have to talk about issues or his moon coloney, maybe??? (otfl) (smile)

Me, I am more and more begining to believe they will be forced to bring in more on the right to run if they want to make that party's political party evenrelavent in 2012...

Steve, if our president was 'bragging' at least he is not bragging about causing 100s of thousands of death, and millions in displacement and injuries...I don't believe his administration killed not one child inits mother's woumb. do you, Steve...

and, if he was 'bragging' it was because he proved it is up to that nation for its people's to decide theier fate. could I be correct on this smatter?

Me, I just wish we would start bragging on the end of the war in Iraq as so many objected to it like it cost notone cent(well it didn't cost the Bush administration one red cent or we would not be camplaining about our president has run up the deficit for paying for Bush's what 8 years of war in two differenet nations? (smile)

or even better we can start looking at our president as a man who has never voted for war , a president who is not a dictator, ect.our president is many different things to many different people, but he is still only one individual and not a GOD nor someone out to program our minds as that is up to the individual to cast their individual vote and then act like they are the government because they are.... am I correct on this also, my brother? (smile)

Steve, I work on the polls each year for the past 11 years...each an devery name written if the state does not have a law against it, counts......remember me saying we the individual is th egovernment...after I voted fo rR.P. I let him know I did and why I did it... our governmenting posers are only limited to how we limit them...do you see R.P. giving in as it is hopeless or is he using th epowers taht the individuals still give him?

I never play to loose Steve and tis is because I follow my conscious...if wrong for me then I change it...I don't vote by party that is just a label, I vote for the person "I" believe is best to do the job...voting by party is no different than voting by skin color or the most , loudest ads which means one is voting fo rmoney as the foundation...I do the research and all it cost me is my time and energy and I see this as worthit...at lease fo rme. (smile)

AND, I NEVER , EVER, EVER PLAY HE VICTIM...LOL...

My brother Rabbit...please always only vote your conscious, even if you have to put in a write in name on your ballot...but always make sure we all vote so we can have a 'legal' say in our government, because we are our government : local, state as well as federal. (smile)

My brother, I am so glad you are always willing to look on the other side and not be stuck in the 'right'/ 'wrong'states that stunt mental growth...so lets try this on the media point of view..."I" believe the only thing taht will be able to influnce the media is loosing ad money. lol...loosing viewers don't even count if the money rolls in...kind of like politicians...

Now here is someting you will not see a lot on regular ad media, but on c-span and on rachel & O'donell , because they teach the views how to find the info themselves if they want to do so...inother words steve they want their viewers to use them as onlyone form of resource not an excuse for one to act like nonthinkers...and, why I watch manbc, fox. cnn and mylocal news, write my congresspeople, write to the paper editor, take many different magizines. I take what I need and can use in my daily life, because these people are doing a job for pay as #1!!! (smile)

But, not to worry my brother rabbit, peope still tell me I am lying because I did not vote for our president...I now know my president and I like how he is really against war...that he refuses to not practice what he preaches on America is a Christian dominate nation and we all must work for equality not control of othe rnations or abuse of religions as an excuse for doing so...so yes, this time I will vote for him and only because he has proven that he is someone I want in my daily ife and no other reason.

As for RP...I have made up my mind that he is not his own person right now...to me it seem he is trying to protect his son's career as his political succesor...but I don't believe his son can ever be his own person as rP has been. (smile)

Steve, you will be just fine, because you ae going to check every body out and go back and forth until you are satisfied...there is no right or wrong in voting Steve as we only get just one vote. I have full faith in you my brother, you will do the right thing. (smile)

...or Steve, you can try this..."I" never wanted Bush to be president and it had nothing to do with him being a republican (remember RP is on that ticket also) I didn't like and still don't like Bush or anything he stands for...

BUT, I HAVE ALWAYS RESPECTED THE 'OFFICE' OF THE PRESIDENT. THE OFFICE OF PRESIDENT IS NOT BUSH OR OBAMA, BUT IT IS A SYMBOL OF MY NATION'S AGAINST DICTATORSHIPS. (SMILE)
