A PRAYER FROM MIISRAEL: PLAINLY
For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer,
he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in
a glass. For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his
way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man
he was. [James: 1:23]
ABBA FATHER:
Let us plainly pray in plain words.
We thank you for your helpful mercy,
and for our plain life.
Forgive us in wrongdoings,
and forge in us the beauty in plain things.
Much often we take plain for granted,
and we seek only to have the fancy.
But let’s be plain, simple, humble and compassionate.
Making all things plainly we become not confused
with attachments that distract us and lead us away
from our plain faces, or from you.
In our service the plain is made richer than gold,
more precious than silver, and far more plainly we
become glorified in your sight that our plainness
will please you.

MIISRAEL
“But whosoever looketh into the perfect law of
liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a
forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man
shall be blessed in his deed. James: 1:25
