LET US
WATCH
LORD FATHER:
When we pray ..
to us ..
let us watch and be sober.
For we are children of light
and children of the day.
We watch for the Light of
your glory and let us also live
in light so that we are in your
constant safety.
Let us watch and be not as others
who live in darkness still..
Still..
Let us pray for others to have
change of heart to find thy light
and become watchers of eternal
light which gives us always Life.
Let us watch even in sleep having
the Comforter with us living while
we have breath and watches over us.
Let us watch in hope and in faith
which so many of these who are in
darkness have lost their way....
Holding on to darkness.
These that watch in darkness are
lost from you.
Plead we do your great mercy to free
them.
But..
Let us watch giving thanks for we
are in your Light which has obtained for us by your salvation,
by our prayers; and by our belief in the Light in
Jesus Christ.
AMEN
