THINK PROGRESS, March 19, 2012 -- Since his tragic death on February 26, Trayvon Martin — an unarmed 17-year-old African-American shot by “neighborhood watch volunteer” George Zimmerman — has become national news. Martin, a good student with no criminal record, was killed by Zimmerman on his way home from the 7-11. Zimmerman was carrying a 9 millimeter handgun. Martin was carrying a bag of Skittles and a can of iced tea. Martin has merited coverage by the New York Times, the Washington Post, and USA Today. The story has been covered by all three broadcast networks and extensively on cable. But there is one outlet that has barely mentioned Trayvon Martin — Fox News. I just saw Trayvon Martin's father interviewed by Rev. Al Sharpton. It was deeply moving... heartbreaking. I don't think it will be available till tomorrow--but as soon as it does come up, I will post it here.

WOLF BLITZER PLAYED A 911 TAPE RELATED TO THIS MATTER IN A WAY WITH THE CALLER TELLING HER CHILD TO GET DOWN JUST BEFORE HEARING THE SHOT...
ANYONE SEEN NEWS REPORTS OF BLACK PARENTS HAVING THIER CHILDREN SLEEPIN THE BATH TUB TOAVOID SHOOTING SO PREVELENT...
THIS WAS PLAYED IN THE SAME VAIN OF HTIS MENATLITY OF THE MOTHER (NO MALE IN THE HOME) TELLING HER SMALL CHILD TO GO TO THEIR SAFE PLACE BECAUSE WHEN THEY HEAR VOICES IT MEANS SHOOTING WILL FOLLOW...AND FOR US TO GET THE IMPRESSION THAT NOTHING WAS SAID ON THE 911 CALL AT ALL WHEN THERE WAS SOMETHING BEING REPORTED TO 911 BY CALLERS BECAUSE THEY DID NOT LIKE OR TRUST THE PERSON WHO ENDED UP KILLING THIS BLACK YOUTH...(NUP)

...AND, about the right not being able to'defend' this killing...I am listening to The Ed show and he just played a sound bite of romney blaming our prresident for those deaths in Afgan and how he had run onf gas prices...now what was taht about the right? The two top Fox Jocks did not touch this at all tonight...and, darn it as it looks like steward and colbert is on vacation again...but they deserve it for what they do when they are on...
Oh, Hannity did talk about our First Lady will be making an appearance on late night talk...he has been talking about this since the last time she was on a late night talk show...but thenhe is still complaining about our president's having attended his home church even after Rev. Wright had long retired during 2008. (smile)
and, naturlly they are still talking about bill M. and his $million donation to the campaign's funds that are not under our president's control nor can he give them any asvice, but wo camre about facts any way...you would think they would be talking about romney/ santorum, huh as tomorrow is another big day for more right-wingers to eat each other alive some more. (smile)

Fox is still trying to stay as far from this story of TM as they can...now with the voting over they may be forced into it...I will make sure to keep my eyes on them for when they dobecause it must be going to be a doozy. lol (smile)
NOw remember Mitt nor Santorum is Fox's choice for winners as they picked first Donald then Newt and hell they don't even have Limbaugh over to try and put our prresident down as a regular guest o Greta's just to show what major problems they are having this early in the campaign year. (smile)
