A Southaven, Mississippi driver was pulled over with a car flashing blue lights and was asked to present and show signs of his license and proof of insurance. Politely, the driver said he complied with the officer. The officer then prompted the driver that he was pulled over for passing a school bus with its stop sign out and given a verbal warning not to do it again. Later, it was discovered that “would be officer” was the Southaven Mayor Greg Davis. Now, instead of the driver being arrested, the mayor was taken in and allegedly charged with impersonation of a police officer. With all the other charges facing the mayor’s past history of over expenditures of the city’s money and the challenges of the citizens to have him ousted out of office, this new charge puts more icing on his record of going overboard in his vital signs of a proficient mayor’s behavior.

Last December a 50 year old suffered a heart attack at a local convenience store on Jackson Avenue. While he was administered CPR by the store owner; the man was legally pronounced dead. However, when helped arrived from three firefighters who insisted to continue with vital determination to revive him back to live which gave him certain vital signs to live. This same man wanted to give out a vital thank you to the three heroes who never gave up on him and wanted to thank them personally for saving his life. That man was Phil Inman and in a local news report Inman had this to say to his heroes “Thank you for not giving up. I appreciate you seeing the situation, and actually doing something about it, and just cause they could have taken me to the morgue, they could have taken me to the morgue, instead of the hospital. I was at that point on the floor.” Inman is doing remarkably well.

TRAYVON’S MARCH IN MEMPHIS

A group organized from Direct Action Inc. held a rally in support of Trayvon Miller started out fine as hundreds came from the Mid-South and Memphis to offer their support. Signs in hand, many supporters rallied for justice for Trayvon, only some decided to leave when the speaker begin showing vital signs of hate and prejudice. The message came from the bullhorn the voice of Minister Kenneth Van Buren. Van Buren was reported as showing signs of prejudice by saying “A white man is the one that killed Trayvon Martin!” Attendees said the minister also said “We have to come together against this white man.” This was a vital sign that many supporters walked away. Those who left did not agree with the message the organizer presented; and mentioned the entire rally should have been about justice in a death of teen, not a racial issue, it’s moral issue of a wrongful death.

Three employees of the Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division were signed out. The trio was dismissed from their jobs for stealing power services and not paying. The three employees worked in different departments had received disconnection of services, but had reconnected their own services unauthorized. The cases related in theft of power services and fined. No arrests were made, but the employees were left with vital signs of being unemployed. Glen Thomas, a spokesman for MLGW said it’s zero tolerance for employees who break rules for stealing power and the stealing can be misdemeanor or a felony depending on how much power was stolen.
