Got invited and attended a play this weekend, and the unplanned came up...a music concert with Mary, Mary which I had to decline. The play was Shakespeare's The Tempest and I found me and my date sitting under the stars in a large area with an stage out in the middle of a wooded area known as Shelby Farms. It was cool. No, I mean "cool like chilly weather," but the play was cool too! In fact, I enjoy plays, and I also have written a play or two. I find the arts very moving and often there usually isn't enough to comply with the audiences needs to see more live theatre.
Let's face it many people of color like me don't go to live theatre! However, the experience is totally emotionally cool. "Like cool you enjoy." I tend to want Saturday nights to be cool. You get to relax a bit, play the music, or a little bit of wine, your favorite past time and even your favorite social network. You squeeze that all in and Saturday night and before ya' know it Saturday night spent at home.. If you're single, or married Saturday nights can be most unforgettable fun memories. I called my friend Sand on the phone and talked for almost 2 hours. .. Oh, that girl... she is a chatter box! I just have stay awake and say "uh..uuh..yeah!" She had to express herself, .. and I was thinking about her. She needed someone to talk to... It's a cool kind thing to think of others...Someone wants you to call them perhaps? Don't wait too long 'til another Saturday night.
