APRIL 2012
Dear Gardeners:
It's been a quick month since my last letter. You know my son did buy that weed-trimmer just as he said he would. He's beginning to use it like a pro! However, in April many of you are now outside planting for May flowers to bloom. If you did your planting bulbs last Fall they should be up and on their way to make you some lovely May yards of color. But let's face it..garden tasks are tedious; and with grass and weeds at your hands all of them will be keeping you busy killing of warding off the invaders of your floral and fruit of enjoyment.
Tasks of Weeding:
Yes... killing weeds in your floral or veggie gardens will require you to be busy keeping those weeds away. There's the old fashioned sure way of doing it by hand. It's a rough task, "keeps in you good shape though." Meanwhile, there are many kinds of garden tools you can buy that help pull up weeds around your plants or vegetables garden. Go to your local garden store and see what options are available. There are also pesticides which keeps away unwanted grass, pests and weeds. How often you de-weed your plot is up to you, but I must suggest you keep a weekly watch on weeds, they'll easily overtake your plendeur.
Watering:
Warm weather is setting in too, so you'll want to have a get a good watering system going for your thirsty plants. You can if you're able install sprinklers which can make waterings much easier. If you enjoy the water hose, make sure there's a sprinkler attachment to it. This helps eliminates straight hardwater pouring over them. It most resembles natural rains. For those who have outdoor potted plants there are watering cans you can purchase to give the same effect as soft rains. They range within different sizes and prices so you can decide which ones are best for you.
Loving to Garden:
As a advocate of gardens and gardening, I want to do much more that I have. Planting and seeing a floral gardens simply causes a natural love inside me. I look to expand into doing much more of which I'm writing about. Presently, I have a potting garden of plants and florals. My time doesn't really allow me to get my garden plot in the yard going and requires quite a commitment of time. Oftentimes, it is why many people don't garden at all. But, it is a love for it deep within those soil lovers who continue to nuture passions of growing things when tired, or not--they make beautiful enrichments in loving growing earth's reapers of beauty.
Tasks are in the plenty, but the beauty of plenty is quite a reward. I think most gardeners will agree. I agree. . It's been great writing to you; and do keep your garden tasks as organized as possible. The work will be in store for your total enjoyment. I'll write soon.
"SO TELL ME HOW DOES YOUR GARDENS GROW?"
"I'D SURELY LIKE TO KNOW."
MINE GROWS WITH LOTS OF LOVE,
MIISRAEL
P.S. "I love you."
