Greetings:
Meditation is great method to begin in changing you. Perhaps, you might question why would I want to change me? I am whom God made me and I feel there is no need for me to change? And although, you may be right about God making you whom you are the changing you in involving meditation is to make your changes in ways of service and worship which you will please the Lord.
Meditation to please the Lord will cause changes in you. One product of mediation on the Lord will change your inner thoughts, heart, and living more in obeying God's commandments of love. Your meditation will not contain vanity, but charity, your meditation will focus on love and not envy, hate, or things corruptible to others. Changes in you will begin with exalting God's glory and praising God for changing your life to be a product of his eternal service where He will become your total life, and your very own life will not be your own anymore, but you will belong to God. Your temple, your body will change inside and no longer will you concur with things you once did which you know were incorrect by God's commandments. Meditate on God's Word and change into absorbtion of his grace, love, beauty, peace. You will find the changing you will be what God accepts. The changing you will be where God will live in you because you are acceptable in his sight. Develop time to change to whom you really are in the Lord Jesus so that the Holy Spirit will exemplify God living inside you so that your change will love others and also be of service to them.
"Let love be without hypocrisy, Abhor what is evil
and Cling to what is good."
"Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love,
in honor giving preference to one another."
" Not lagging in dilgence, fervent in spirit, serving
the Lord."
"Rejoicing in hope patient in tribulation, continue
stedfast in prayer."
[Romans 12: 8-12]
Your change will be in having additions and not subtractions, and the changes will complete you to be a vessel God will bless and accept because you have changes in which He has ordained in order to attain eternal life. You will change and become a new creature of your true self standing before God blameless.
"Let the words of mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O' Lord my strength and my redeemer." [Psalm 19:14]
