@Siebra...SNOBALLS.!!! LOL! Make a homemade one with crushed ice and your favorite Kool-aid flavor. Its add some corn syrup to the Kool-aid mix to make it thicker. It's a good substitute.

It's been super hot lately here in New Orleans. Be sure to drink plenty of fluids to avoid getting overheated, dehydrated and sick. If you don't like plain water, try putting a little lemon, cucumber and sweetener in it, then let it sit overnight. It gives it a refreshing taste... as well as nutrition.
Also, hibiscus tea is good- especially for children. It is red like Kool-Aid and has a mild floral/fruity flavor. It's great for iced tea. It also helps with high blood pressure/cholesterol.
You can also experiment with other fruit and herbs/spices infused in water such as apples, peaches, berries, mint, lavender and basil. But whatever you do, make sure you are not forgetting to stay hydrated. Stay healthy family, especially those of you with blue collar jobs!
Rich, believe it or not it was at 12pm today, 69 degrees where it was 101 degrees last week this time! It will be the same for one more day and colder at night. We are having what is called THE DELTA WINDS...
but, it is alright because our gas prices for the summer are trying its best to reach the $3.00 mark at the rate it is falling. $3.79 three days ago today $3.67. (smile)
