It's August!
In Memphis that means people will celebrate this month with Elvis Week! And right here in A Little Southern News you'll take part in this famous week of Elvis' commemoration and remembrance.
Fans come from all parts of the world to Memphis to compete in look-a-like contests, have part in the candlelight ceremony and visit his Graceland. This week's is full of Elvis activity buzzing around. You know who I am? I'm Yo' Little Southern Belle MIISRAEL! Since you know that already then you know you're in....

It's time for back to school tax free weekend!
Git your supplies for yo' chullens without paying no sales taxes. The sale is all across Memphis on any participating stoes. You can save taxes on computers, and uniforms and clothings! Just don't fight thar's plenty fo' everybody!
ELVIS WEEK BEGINS...

EVENTS:
Thar's too many Elvis events to name; so just for the thought, locals can find out by surfing the web and listening to the local radio stations! Shoot that's too murch work fo' me .....I only tell a lil' and dats enough "I bleeve." You wants to go to Graceland? Drive on down over thar to Elvis Presley Blvd., a gits dat infomation from them friendly folks. They loves to party so it's be plently fo y'all.
Whats dat? What if you's reeding heer, but you 's not a local?...
Du..ugh!! I' done told you I only tell a lil'! You'll find yo' way round. . . .Oh Alright! I didn't mean to sound grouchy!...But Southern Belles gits a bit ranchy sometimes...I guess?
The Candlelight Remembrance is Saturday, August 15, 2012 @ Graceland
Many will gather to pay tribute to Elvis and remember with candle lights and a small ceremony too. It's super dooper special to Elvis fans who come each year! If y'alls want you can go, but lots of Elvis' movies will be showing. He made 31 in all. Watch dis montage for a couple of minutes to see if you member any of them... Click on the pic below, but come back and see what else in goins on in August!!

There will be plenty of scheduled activities thar for every chap in yo' house. Numberous activities all befo' school starts, and even on weekends. Nothin beats their prices but scrambled eggs at home! Try calling them and setting up a visit or two! Admission is only $12 bucks!

Git yo' tickets to hear the bands in gardens. It's outdoor concerts under the August sky. Y'alls be watching the stars go by as top bands and vocal artisks will be on the stage. Smack! That thar was a music mosquito! La cucharcha! them bugs will be out thar too!

HERE'S Y'ALL TIP!
ALL KIDDING ASIDE KEEP YOUR CHILD or CHILDREN IN YOUR SIGHT WHEREVER YOU GO.
1. Never leave them unattended
2. Never leave them in the car alone in the heat!
3. Make sure you keep control of them while shopping.
4. And while they are playing outside always know you'll be able to see them.
5. Teach them safety techniques from child preditors too!
