If having an “apple bottom” is your goal, the bench lunge can be your best friend as it places primary emphasis on the gluteal muscles that make up your buttocks. This exercise is not only great for the gluteal muscles, but it also helps in developing the quadriceps muscles (front of the thigh) as well as the hamstring muscles (back of the thigh).
