While what is de­picted in the car­toon is true for the ma­jor­ity of ac­tors in the econ­omy, there are those that ben­e­fit from gov­ern­ment in­ter­ven­tion rather than suf­fer. These are mainly the cor­po­rate al­lies of the State and other as­sorted crony scum. The way to solve both prob­lems is to end gov­ern­ment in­ter­ven­tion, but for some the idea of a life with­out suf­fer­ing would be too dif­fi­cult. After all, op­po­nents of eman­ci­pa­tion did make a sim­i­lar ar­gu­ment, that if the slaves were freed life would be too dif­fi­cult and they would all die with­out a mas­ter to con­trol them Posted By: DAVID JOHNSON
