The candidates battled fiercely at their third and final debate on foreign policy, with Mitt Romney drawing contrast from Pres. Barack Obama more in terms of tone than of policy. Rev. Sharpton’s big criticism of Romney tonight was his “schizophrenia” after he distanced himself from positions he’s taken while he’s been campaigning for office. Rev also criticized Romney’s lack of vision, “It’s almost enough to make you miss George Bush – at least he had a doctrine.” We want to know what you think. We’ve got two polls for you to answer tonight. First, the basic question: who won this one? Who won the 3rd presidential debate? Pres. Obama Mitt Romney

SAN DIEGO, October 22, 2012 — If you think the final Presidential debate takes place on Monday night, October 22, you are mistaken. The final Presidential debate takes place on Tuesday night, October 23, at 9 p.m. Eastern/6 p.m. Pacific Time. But you won’t find it on any of the major broadcast or cable TV networks, despite the presence of a well-known host and four ballot-qualified Presidential candidates. Veteran talk show host Larry King, currently hosting "Larry King Now" on Ora TV, hosts the four third party Presidential candidates in a special 2012 Presidential debate, sponsored by the Chicago-based nonprofit Free and Equal Elections Foundation. This debate will take place at the Hilton Chicago and will be streamed live via Ora TV’s website and You Tube channel, and the Foundation website. You can symbolically RSVP and set a reminder at this link. The top six presidential candidates were invited. Confirmed participants include Libertarian Party Presidential candidate Gary Johnson; Green Party Presidential candidate Dr. Jill Stein; Justice Party Presidential candidate Rocky Anderson; and Constitution Party Presidential candidate Virgil Goode. Democratic Party Presidential candidate Barack Obama and Republican Party Presidential candidate Mitt Romney declined. The debate is sponsored by the Chicago-based nonprofit Free and Equal Elections Foundation, which has criticized the debates between President Obama and Republican challenger Romney for excluding third-party candidates and coming off as too programmed. “We are honored to have Larry King moderate this historic debate,” stated Christina Tobin, Founder and Chair of Free & Equal. “The previous debates between President Obama and Governor Romney have failed to address the issues that really concern everyday Americans. From foreign policy, to the economy, to taboo subjects like our diminishing civil liberties and the drug war, Americans deserve a real debate, real solutions, and real electoral options.” Read more: Third party Presidential debate scheduled Tuesday; Larry King moderates | Washington Times Communities Follow us: @wtcommunities on Twitter

WASHINGTON, October 23, 2012 — There is no doubt about it: President Obama won the debate hands down. And if we learned anything last night, he showed us just what a Commander in Chief looks like. Obama not only took command of the stage, but he took command of the facts. No wonder he is respected across the world. He was steely-eyed and obviously has a spine of steel to match. We saw the man who oversaw the hunting down and killing of Osama bin Laden. If anything, America should sleep a lot better at night with him in the White House. Perhaps the most surprising thing we learned from the debate was that former Governor Mitt Romney has now retreated from his previous extremist rhetoric, agreeing with the president on almost every major policy. This undoubtedly drove the neo-cons and conservatives around the bend. Romney had etch-a-sketched once again and in prime time. If conservatives were taking a shot of vodka every time Romney said he agreed with President Obama, they would have probably been passed out on the couch by the end of the debate, if not from too many shots, then from hearing him agree over and over and over with Obama. Oh, the treachery of it! Read more: President Obama wins the debate as Mitt Romney retreats from extremist views | Washington Times Communities Follow us: @wtcommunities on Twitter

...NOW Steve here is the other side of this story...Mr. Johnson's apearing with Larry King can be a negative in the real world, because Larry Kiing dispite generations of being on our public air waves was forced off of CNN in disgrace due to racial discrmination. (nup/smile)...along with Lou Dobbs...

As stated by someone after the debate tonight...tonight was the Romney the right feared the most that he is not a Conservative...there is no tone thing Romney did tonight that he has done during the debates of those running to be the person running against BHO or in any of his nor Ryan's speeches... and if I am shocked at the Romney in his backing up what this administration is and has been doing all along, I sure hate to be someone on teh right and GOD knows the Teaparty will never be able to vote for him not with this being added to his being a Mormon on top of everythng else. NO W-A-Y...!!!..(smile)
