This is all very good to know. Thanks Irma. And speaking of voting precincts, I believe this can be found on the state website. I still need to do this myself. Although I didn't sign up as a poll worker, I'm glad to hear of the new workers you mention. Maybe I can do this next time around.

hI sTEVE, "i" HOPE YOU watch The Last Word@msnbc tonight...you will see why I never miss Lawrence O'Donnell because his mind works so much like mine does...objectively ...and so very rare seen on tv but we do have the net forcing the tv neews to cover issues they don't want to cover...because they are of interest to the average citizen. (smile)
and, yes he is a divote Catholic who refuses to give up his powers to be responsible fo rhis own actions. (Unlike me, he did not have to learn the faith altogather to find peace.smile)

...it is going to be very, vry interesitng to see if Fox demands LO be fired for saying it is better to listen to and to not believe your vote is wasted if you vote Libertarian or Green because it is them who look out for the average citizens interest...yep, I do love LO and RM. (smile)

Steve, I just thought of something...if you don't get to work on the polls this time, you can always work for your party on the phone bank. Phone banking(Calling potential voters) calls at this time is as vital if not more important than working on the polls in a way. All you have to do is contact your party's headquarters and go in to the headquarters or they can give you a list to call from your home. (smile)
EVERY WARM BODY THAT CAN BE FOUND IS NEEDED IN THESE LAST FEW CRITICAL DAYS...LOL...

Brother Rabbit, lots of excitment at the poll training meeting today...
1. Due to some of the pull outs of names on teh ballots / redistrictings , we may have a run-off election in Jan. we were asked to sign up for it if we like and we were going to end up having to have one.
2. we now have new lightenings with small battery driven lights over the privacy voting booth's card board screens...before they were electric and would get so hot some times they schorched them.
3. This one made me think of you. On the computer voting machines there is now an attchment to be put on it and it has a head phone so now the sight emparred, the blind can vote without accistance.
And, for the first time (to save money I am sure) we each did not get individaul old time note books with our instructions in them and no bottle water or snacks or break time. Those note books were our life lines cheat sheets if we forgot anything. I am sure there will be on for all to use on the site so we will not be working blind or calling them at the voting headquarters every few minutes...we mostly onlyhave to call them to help us help people find the correct voting precints they are in. And, naturally this becomes a prolem most about time to close the polls, but we are dealing with human behaviors. lol...
BUT, HINT, HINT, THERE WERE A LOT OF FIRST TIME POLL WORKERS. LOL (SMILE)
