It's not a tickle....
Kevin Clash known as the famous voice actor and puppeteer behind the most admired Sesame Street Show character Elmo has resigned. Spokespersons from the production said Kevin Clash resigned on Tuesday, November 20, 2012. Clash has been under the microscope with allegations of s*xual abuse and another person has come forth following the retrack of the first accuser and has additionaly; claimed similar allegations against Clash s*xual abusing him.
The Sesame Street Workshop has taken steps to hire a replacement and has said that they have a substitute actor in the interim to portray Elmo's voice. The voice will much like that of Clash's. Meanwhile, retailers are wondering if the scandal of Clash will clash with the puppet's popular scene? However, the favoritism for Elmo has shown little effect and retail sales will have little need of worry. Elmo products hasn't shown any decreases as a child's favorite toy puppet as the Christmas hoiliday season approaches, the little friend of Sesame Street knows how to get on the right street. Clash has not given clues as to the allegations and has quietly resigned saying he'll be taking care of some very personal matters at home.
The 52 year old Clash has played the Elmo voice for 28 years.
"Can you tell me how to get..to Sesame Street?"
