NYPD OFFICER DISPLAYS AN ACT OF KINDNESS
Commonly many acts of kindness may go without notice, but just at the right moment an act of kindness can resurface with an outstanding message of giving. This happened to one of NYPD officers as he aided an homeless citizen in New York Times Square on a cold November 14, 2012 night. Officer Larry DePrimo put forth his duty to be a humanitarian by purchasing shoes for a homeless man. He went inside a nearby Skechers store and bought a pair of boots for the man and the store clerk then gave him an additional staff discount. As he delivered the man the boots, a tourist from Florence, Arizona took a snap shot photo with her cell phone and sent it to the NYPD police department showing the him giving the gift of kindness. Then, set off by a Facebook page posting the viral photo has been visited by over 1.6 million viewers and counting. As of today the man who received the act of kindness identity remains unknown.
“ It is very possible though his feet are much warmer and the officer has shown a very warm heart.” “
It is much better to give than to receive…& it is better to receive when it truly a blessing from real caring.”
