You gits to see a slave house where many connected ways to get-away north and find new freedom along the Mississippi River banks. Find out how a southern white couple risked their lives to help displaced slaves and you'll fall deeply in love with Black history underground learning of the significance and apprecation of the love of freedom's run!
Shoot! I could jabber all day...but it's time fo' us gits to running to the river... the boats comin..."
LOVE THE VIEW OF THE RIVER
When was the last time you felt a love of a view with river history? Riverboat cruises can be arranged, but.. Y'all dis won't cost you nuthin...Take yur sweetie down to Riverside's Tom Lee's Park and watch the sunset..thar's bound to be a riverboat passing long fo' long and you can see history of that vessel rite in front of yo' eyes.
