Overindulging in food and alcohol over the weekend can be a major hinderance to successful weight management. Don't let your hard work go in vain for two days of pleasure. Here are three tips to keep you on track this weekend:
1. Implement workouts! If you use the weekend to rest, choose moderate activities that you can enjoy (i.e. take an aerobics style dance class or go dancing at a nightclub).
2. When eating socially, choose smaller portioned foods like Japanese Sushi or Spanish Tapas.
3. If you must consume alcohol, choose light beer, low-proof wines or low-calorie mixed drinks (i.e. rum/vodka with diet soda).
