He's not bad looking to me...I seen a cute black and white one on the show who looks like one of my Chihuahuas...

Chihuahuas... are so fiesty.... I have one... her name is Sasha and she is the sweetest lil girl... She think she's human!!

But I'm looking into a west highlander white terrier and the bichon frise
..... and those dogs are expensive.... But I do love Dogs... They are more reliable than a man!! LOL...

Chihuahuas are very smart dogs and very playful...I have a male and a female they are both spayed and neutered...

If I were you I'll go with the West Highlander terrier...My cousin had a Bichon and he was soooooooooo hard to train she ended up giving him back to the SPCA...

OK... THANKS... I will...

I agree they are smart.... who would think that much energy in such a tiny package... Sasha's fixed too... I couldn't take too many of lil she/hers running around yapping at everything including her shadow....

But she is a wonderful watch dog... one thing I found out about Chihuahuas... they don't tolerate kids too much...

When ever the little kids come to my house... She takes off into seclusion.
My son XXXX has an Italian Greyhound... he's very tempermental...
but I think because my son never allowed him to socialize much. So, now XXXXXX and I are the ones left having to care for him...

Golden Retrievers are the best dogs ever I think... We travel alot; and that's just too much to handle. Sasha on the other had, jumps in the back seat and pulls on her seat belt ... we strap her in and she's ... ready to go!

Now Siebra male dogs!! Yuck!! Always kicking up their hind legs marking everything.... No no no.... Me/She/Her... ain't having it!! That's why my son's dog lives outside!! No worries he has his doggie house...

ooops s sorry about that had to edit my own comments.... don't want to put my children's name out there like that....

Best of Show is judged by the dog's conformation to the breed's standards. My pick for a dog is a Labrador. I'd definitely look at the breed standard, but I wouldn't want a show dog. Too much inbreeding. Can't have a Lab at this point though, I'll have to wait until I have room for her. They need room to run.

my Golden Retriever had Show Dog Standards... but she got knocked up by my neighbors Lab and her whole temperment changed. I tell you, for one it takes alot of money to invest if you want to go through the rigor of training a dog for these competitions....
"Ain't nobody got time for that"™ ha!

I had a Brittany that was from show and field trial champions. I showed him a little but he was too high strung. He was a runner and one day he got out of the house and got killed by a truck. That was the last dog I had.

Brittany... isn't that along with the Cocker Spaniel? My son had one (Cocker) he named him Shadow...and my grandmother had his brother Smokey; Shadow too was a runner. My ex-husband got in a lot of trouble behind that dog... military base; just when we decided to bring him back to my mom's; he was run over.

The Brittany is closer to the Springer. They used to call it Brittany Spaniel but now just Brittany. I've thought about a Cocker but they're a little neurotic. Again, too much inbreeding.

My female Chihuahua is called Missy...she's a black and white pure bred...she's about 15 years old I got her in my first year of college...the boy is called Holly he's 12 years old...he's tan and a Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix...but Missy has bad eczema...her skin is so sensitive that I have to bathe her in Ivory dish detergent...but overall they are both good dogs...

My first wife has a Chihuahua mix. Lilly will bark at anything. Her best friend and playmate is a big orange tabby I named Sunshine. My son though insists on calling him orange kitty, how original.
