As a closing date approaches to Women History Month in 2013, a new door opens for one of women's first. President Obama appointed the first woman to service as the Director of the Secret Service. His appointment named Julia Pierson to that official title. Pierson being the first woman of the Secret Service, has over 30 years of experience in working in the department. The 53 year old has a background which certifies her knowledge and tactics as well as skills in the operations of Secret Service tasks. Pierson has served in positions as Chief of Staff and Assistant Director. Many feel Pierson is trustworthy and knowledgeable to engage the capacity of her latest appointment without hesitation.
"She's a women of history now."
