ON A MONDAY IT'S WAS
BACK TO SCHOOL WITH
A NEW CONSOLIDATION
STUDENTS BUS RIDES
REQUIRED RELOCATION
Memphis, TN
Shelby County
Children of the new consolidation of Memphis Shelby County will be under rule of the Shelby County School Districts. A long process over a period of almost two years has students who catch buses walking long distances to school. In order to help aid in student's targeted to walk the new Shelby County School Board has changed some bus routes to accommodate students which rely on bus routes to and from school. Some parents expressed the danger to their smaller children who were 6 years old walking to school which led to some changes to be made. Additional changes may take place in routes as they are required.
IN ANOTHER MATTER:
Although school is in session many students are still not showing up for school classes. Which has triggered reasons to why are the students absent? The school board is looking at contacting the parents of students missing the school bell to be present.
That's a bus ride..the bell's ringing!
SKIPPING OVER TUESDAY
GO STRAIGHT TO WEDNESDAY
Tupelo, MS
Elvis fans may getting a much more in depth look on tours as Tupelo, MS are looking forward to possibly being included in sites to visit during Elvis Week. Tupelo is home and birthplace of the late Elvis and there the original home where Elvis grew up is among the places to be included. In addition, a private ranch where the singer lived may be along the view. However, no absolute plans have been made but speculation it may increase the week of tourism for those traveling to Memphis.
Elvis fans will cheer this I reckon!

OH WHOA! OH WHOA!
Memphis, TN
A old tree in the area of North Memphis finally made a fall landing on three homes. The tree split in three parts landing on three separate residents, and one elderly woman was in her bed when the tree landed trapping her underneath inside her home. Her neighbor who raced to assist her call said the woman was crying for help -- soon emergency help came to help free her where she was transported to the hospital.
I can't resist.."The tree's fallen and it can't get up!"
No, really I'm glad she's alright.
