DAY 21
AUGUST 2013
A Coronal Mass Ejection occurred on Tuesday, August 20, and Wednesday, August 21, 2013 which NASA also calls a solar storm. This storm occurs from the sun and releases billions of charged particles. The storm is said to not have any lasting effect on the earth and usually breakup in before entering the earth's orbit. Reports from NASA said this two large blasts occurred on those days. The particles are said not to harm humans but do effect electronic systems such as satellites and electronics on the ground. The sun is in Solar Cycle 24 which is the 11th cycle of 11th phase of the sun's peak of activity. The CME's are due to arrive around August 23-24 which may spark geometric activity around the poles.
