Clean up the space trash!
Garbage in space is a mission that is requiring some future attention right now and not without reason. Researchers at the Japan Aero Space Exploration Agency are busy to start a process to do a space clean up. They have developed what is called an electrodynamic tether. The tether is made from steel wires of stainless steel aluminum. The main goal is to collect the debris and to prevent future damages to space orbit equipment. In hope that this experimental project will help with the 20,000 pieces of space junk orbiting the earth the clean up project has good intentions in mind. The development is a early stage plan to keep down the drastic litter in space. Japanese scientists are adventurous the tether will be a useful project. The tether works by drawing the metal fragments and debris much like a magnetic effect. Site date to launch up the tether will be around February 28, 2014.
"Anin't that some junk!"
