mg scores Marcus Garvey Academy has exceeded the gap. It's a African Centered school on Detroit's east side. They realized through research that AFrican Centered Education was helpful for black students in the inner city. Malcolm X/Paul Robeson has also exceeded the gap. Despite resistance and relocation. 100% in math and reading for 3rd and 4th grade is magnificent 91% proficient in Science for 8th grade is also magnificent. Will the politicians follow the lead to make more DPS schools like MGA???
