NextEra Energy is looking to hire a Sourcing Specialist II for their Florida Power & Light (FPL) subsidiary and upcoming college graduates are encouraged to apply. The only requirement is that you will hold a bachelor’s degree (or have equivalent work experience). There are a couple of preferred majors and/or work experience they would like, but neither is required.
So what is a Sourcing Specialist and what do they do? A Sourcing Specialist executes the sourcing process for assigned business areas and implements policies and programs directed towards providing contracted services and materials. They also prepare sourcing agreements containing limited changes to FPL's standard terms and conditions. No supervisory or budgetary responsibility included.
