If one of the gallons happens to fall...999 million of water on the fall...
A major waterfall in the middle of Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles near and around the campus of UCLA was sprayed with water on its walls and in the streets, cars and flash flooding.
The underground water view broke made a wet mess of water drenching cars and flooring as well as damages to the college's campus newest football field. The break took place around 3:30 LA time with it's toll on water usage as well using around 10 million gallons of water. This was unwelcomed news because of the state's experiencing drought making any water loss an additional add to a rain dry state.
Firefighters worked frantically to get everything under control, however not with a timely effort as it took over four hours to shut off the busted water line pipe. The reasoning it took so long was due to choosing the right vein without causing another one to burst. News media said that the pipeline was built in the 1920's was capable of handling 75,000 gallons of water per minute.
Fortune did smile regardless of the gusher that none of the residents were without water supply with no injuries or fatalities. What a big count though on the college which suffered the most damage and the automobiles which were parked in garages were counting the gallons. Hours later the water was slowly residing with streams like waterfalls.
What an incident!
