Justice Secretary Chris Grayling annouced that abusive cyper-writing by those on social networks could possibly face up to two years in jail for offensive writing. This is his effort in tackling the "cyber-mob" The observing of television personality, Chole Madeley who suffered on-line abuse prompted his actions for tougher laws to be in place. Madeley, said she'll in support of a new law, and that something should be done to regulate social networks for allowing comments that are offensive. Madeley was addressed with threats on her life because she defended her mother rape by footballer, Ched Evans.....which she said resulted as non-violent. The justice secretary, Grayling said " ..people are being abused on line in a most crude and degrading fashion." Grayling hopes the law will combat and help curve such abusive writing. He feels the law will be effective to what one will write, if they are aware they could service a two year sentence behind bars.
