Listen up ladies and gents I want to share a great era of talented producers, composers, and musicians that hailed from the Sound of Philadelphia and the Chicago Branch of Salsoul Records lead by the genius of the late Vince Montana.
My mother demanded that I remixed the great songs of the 1970's and we were getting it in on the dancefloor too!
Well all the great songs produced in the 1970's like the folowing from the SOP as follows: 10 Percent, My Love Is Free, Hit & Run, Love Is The Message and much more.
But digg this the trio of Harris-Baker- Young was pure genius as Young played drums, Baker on bass, and lastly the legendary Norman Harris on lead guitar.
This was a special era for my parents because they partyied hard and strong without physical static.
American history indeed with so many talented individuals contributing to the genius of this music that will live for ever.
We had so much fun doing the old six step hustle required by my in-laws and of course we broke into the current On2 salsa essay to spice up the dance sessions.
