Adinkrahere: Fear of a Black Planet was one of three finalists for the 2015 Phillis Wheatley First Fiction Book Award. The winner was announced on July 17th, on the campus of Columbia University. The awards ceremony was held in conjunction with the Harlem Book Fair.
