AMES, Iowa — Donald J. Trump, who is rarely at a loss for words, admitted “I don’t know what’s going on” when confronted by Ben Carson’s surge past him in early-voting Iowa, where Mr. Trump had led the Republican presidential field for months. Mr. Trump has derided Mr. Carson for lacking the vigor and fortitude to be president, but voters here are drawn to the retired neurosurgeon’s low-pitched manner. “That smile and his soft voice makes people very comforted,” said Miriam Greenfield, a farmer in Jewell, Iowa. In an election season that has confounded party leaders and experts, the rise of Mr. Carson is another unexpected twist. His supporters cite Mr. Carson’s character, not his positions, as the main reason they back him. And they say his low-key approach is precisely what would tame Washington’s bitter partisanship, rather than Mr. Trump’s swagger. “He is kind when he speaks, and he doesn’t have an agenda to set himself up as wonderful,” said Donna Christiansen, a retiree in Ames. What is more, Mr. Carson’s provocative comments on topics like Nazism and slavery, which pundits and commentators regularly denounce, seem only to deepen the enthusiasm his evangelical base feels for him. He has connected with Republican women here, who prefer him to Mr. Trump. And he has built momentum far from the political establishment, which was unimpressed with his debate performances and his lack of governing experience. I was listening to World News on channel two last night (10-26-15) and they were talking about the war that President Bush started when he was in the chair. They were basically saying that that war was definitely unnecessary. Apparently, the United States went over there looking for some weapons of mass destruction and that Saddam Hussein was killing his own people and had plans to destroy America with them. They also said that the information was misinformation, but the idea was still put into affect to send troops over there to Iraq. It was also said, that it was suspected that the information was highly speculative, but the department of defense and others found ways to make it stick. Then they showed where because of this unnecessary war, today ISIS is in control of Syria, Iraq and governmental systems have tumbled in Yemen and other places in the Middle East. Now everyone is playing THE BLAME GAME and Guess who they want to blame? You guessed it, "OBAMA." They said that President Bush did the right thing sending those troops over there and THIS WHOLE KAOTIC MESS OVER THERE CURRENTLY is OBAMA'S fault because he took the troops away and let ISIS take over. That's ashame but that's just like the white man to find a scapegoat to take the blame for their mess. Was this the reason he was elected? If Ben Carson wins the presidency and Armageddon breaks out. Guess whose fault it's going to be? Well, Let me tell you white devils something. Black people never started a war with any nation and the first time we had a chance to get a Black president in the WHITE LEPROUS HOUSE, our president took those soldiers out of Iraq to give those people a chance to recover from the mess you caused in their country. Black people will not sit back and let you put the blame of these stupid wars on OUR BLACK PRESIDENT or any other Black President. Mr. Carson we got your back and Hillary, girl you better watch out. You think they gunning for you now, wait until you become president. Let me ask you Middle Easterners something. Let me whisper something in your ear. Do you really think that black people have enough money and weapons to destroy nations? Yes, we do have some puppets on a string, but over all do you really think as poor as the AFRICAN AMERICAN is over here that we can afford to come over there and destroy whole nations. NEVER MAY THAT HAPPEN. What did OBAMA do when he got in the chair? HE PUT CUBA back in the commerce trade system, he gave Health care to everyone regardless of their health status, He pulled troops OUT of Iraq. So you see, we as a black nation understand your situation. We are going through the same situation. One day there will be world peace and it will be a BLACK MAN that brings it GOOD LUCK TO BOTH CANDIDATE! That's a pretty name. I think if I had to choose between a republican candidate, I'd choose Mr. Carson. It would be nice to have two black presidents in a row. I don't think black presidents would be too much of the war mongering type. Black people just don't have it in them to just destroy whole nations like white people. I think we would have better negotiation skills before resulting to such drastic measures. Seems white presidents have a thing for starting wars since they have so many tax dollars to spend. Every white president has started a war in America. I think they have a more secretive agenda than trying to defend our country. Look at the mess over in the Middle Eastern countries and how low the oil and gas is now. I'm not being funny, but there is a reason behind everything. Look at the Ebola outbreak over there in Africa. The countries that caught it, their main raw resources are GOLD, DIAMOND, URANIUM AND OIL. No other countries have those resources hardly. I'm telling you, the Europeans are starting all of these wars and diseases for their own benefit. They think we don't notice.

I think trumps ok too. He's a good business man and the white house needs someone with good business sense to help manage the runaway debt problem. It's so funny how much debt we have, but they keep raising the debt ceiling. America must have plenty of gold somewhere to cover it. America's credit rating has decrease again from AA to AA-. That's like getting a B on your report card.

You are correct to say I hadn't heard Mr. Carson when he stated that Obama care is like slavery. I don't agree with anyone who wants to tamper with Obama care. and as for a Muslim being allowed to be president, I have no problem with that, but after the reputation of self-termination I'd be a little afraid with a Muslim being president. A Muslim president wouldn't be a problem, but it would make access easier for those Muslims that wish the U.S. harm.

I don't know, the White House is so secretive, you have to fed into it with a loooong handle spoon about anything going on in there. I can't get over the look he came out with after he came out of a secret room that even his secret service couldn't enter. He had to go in by himself. I wonder today who or what was in that room. He almost looked frightened and even CNNN focused in on his facial expression when he came out and commented on it. People talk about a luminate, but I think Obama met more than that in that room.

Yes, people like Carson are dangerous because they think along white and black lines... there is no grey and that's dangerous. They think they are right but they are far from being right... he reminds me of dogmatic St. Paul before he was called by Jesus. He was dogmatic and persecuted people that were turning to the Way of Christianity from Judaism. That's what Carson is likened to in my opinion. ... God isn't upset with Muslims... he loves them. He isn't upset with Gays... He loves them. Carson is exclusive while God is INCLUSIVE.

I don't really care who become president, I just wish all the wars would stop. Isn't it strange that there has been never ending wars and they all are occurring in Sub-Saharanian regions (Egypt, Africa, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Israel, Turkey, etc., etc.) Not only that, the strangest thing is that these regions are all spoken of in the bible and some comments (spoken directly by God himself) are not good. Especially nations like Egypt and North America.

I don't see how if people are dead, it cost money to bury them, if buildings are blown up they have to rebuild them. If organizations collapse, it cost to reorganize them. Wars are a waste of time and effort, but the warmongers aren't aware of that probably.
