Two people are dead after a shooting at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, U.S. Air Force officials said.
A Pentagon official told CNN on condition of anonymity that an airman shot his squadron commander.
No arrests have been reported, but the situation is over and a lockdown at the base has been lifted, Brig. Gen. Bob LaBrutta told reporters.
