PAID, Federal Internship Programs for Fall 2016. Apply Today! (14775 hits)


Paid, Fall Internships!

Now is your chance to apply for paid fall internships with the Federal Diversity Internship Initiative! This is your once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to intern with the federal government, so apply now! Applications are due July 27, 2016.

Accepted students will have a chance to intern for 15 weeks at the:
- Federal Aviation Administration
- Consumer Financial Protection Bureau
- U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
- U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
- U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
- U.S. Department of Treasury
- U.S. Census Bureau
These positions are fully-funded: students receive a twice-monthly stipend, and some support for travel to and from the internship site.

Application Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship (no exceptions)
- 3.0 GPA
- Be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
- Strong interest in federal employment
- July 27, 2016 deadline for fall term

The Washington Center provides students with free, fully-furnished housing and supplemental programming activities. There are no application or program fees for the Federal Diversity Internship Initiative!
