Loving me some nappy nappy is a tribute to sisters with nappy hair. Being that there is still a light skin versus dark skin, good hair vs bad hair schism in the black community, Kamal Imani at the request of his friend Auset wrote, recorded and performed this spoken word , soul song to shine light on the natural beauty that is nappy and kinky hair. the video takes place in the infamous Get Twisted Hair Salon in Teaneck NJ.
