Make a Difference for Tomorrow
For Martravious Stallworth of Selma, Alabama, getting a chance to attend Stillman College is a privilege - and an honor. Growing up without his father, his grandmother, one of his greatest influences, reminds him how important it is to get a college education. At Stillman, an HBCU, this biology major and future physician’s assistant, loves the support and “tough love” he receives. He was most grateful when he received a Hercules Scholarship because paying for college hasn’t been easy.
Coleton Dudley, the English major at Langston University from Cushing, Oklahoma was raised by a single mother. Dudley knows that hard work does pay off, particularly when you know you need scholarships to help pay for your education. He knows attending Langston has fueled his confidence in many ways, from serving as captain of the Langston Soccer Club to getting crowned Mr. Orange and Blue to becoming a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. His HBCU experience has laid the groundwork to help him complete his Bachelors’ degree in English. None of Dudley’s outstanding achievements are possible without having the financial support to stay in school.
As we approach the end of our fiscal year, you can help us help students like Martravious and Coleton, who are more likely to drop out of college because they can’t afford it. Make a gift today and make a difference for our future leaders.
