Several HBCU schools and individuals competed this past week for the 2019 NCAA Division II Track and Field Championships held in Kingsville, Texas held May 23-35.

Among those are the women's 100 meter champion Rene Medley, who also captured first place in the 4x400 meter relay, 200 meter, and 4x100 meter relay, as she and several other teammates held down the fort and captured the 2019 team championship.
