The 4th Annual American Black Film Festival Honors took place Sunday night at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA celebrating the contributions African-Americans are making in film and television. Among the honorees at Sunday's black star powered event was legendary actor Lou Gossett Jr. and Jamie Foxx. In a recent article published by Jamaal Finkley CEO of BLACKTREETV Jamaal reveals the on going concern of black talent ignoring #blackmedia various red carpet activation including but not limited to the 61st Grammys. The article sent shock wave throughout the industry and black actors are doing their absolute best to stop and speak to every outlet. In the video above you see entertainment journalist and red carpet correspondent Tanisha LaVerne Grant one of the industry's most well respected red carpet journalist assert herself to get a sound bite from Academy Award winning actor Jamie Foxx. She was positioned toward the end of the carpet next to but behind veteran journalist Roland Martin and had to jockey to interview Jamie before he left the carpet to present at the ceremony. The journalists behind Grant had to cluster around her to get in on the interview.
