Born on January 5th in Chester, Pa to Anna Mae and Jake Earl Sr. Donna Earl is the youngest of seven children, three boys and three girls. Upon graduating from Chester High School, she continued her education at Morgan State University, studying Business Administration and Marketing. She continued her education at Kaplan University, majoring in Accounting.
As the author of When I Close My Eyes and Eyes Wide Open,she served as co writer of The Chameleon Judge under the surname of The Soap Opera Diva. Her next novel entitled BaLink, a now defunct DJ, is completed and will published in 2026.
Donna now resides in Washington, D.C, enjoying life as a DC " Hand Dancer" and a Washington D,C "Stepper."
An avid reader. she was inspired by the novel "If Beale Street Could Talk and Novelist Terri McMillan, Steven King, Walter Mosley and many others.
"I never knew I could do this until I did it. Once the pen and the paper met, they have taken me on a journey with so many twists and turns...I have enjoyed for where they have taken me.

Chester, PA is a tortured city known only to her through whispered conversations. Surrounded by brick dwellings of historic value, there are cracks and crevices in the foundation of her life that threaten to tear it down. Born in West Philadelphia living on Delancey Street, life for Ruth Walters, through the eyes of those on the outside, was filled with fun times. Eating water ise, playing in the woodpile and jumping rope are humble beginnings of a memorable childhood.
