With shortages in healthcare staffing expected to continue particularly in nursing, the demand for highly qualified individuals to step into key roles is more important than ever. At Carle Health, we are dedicated to a workplace where every team member feels valued, respected, and empowered, where passion and purpose come together to positively impact the lives of our patients and our communities. We offer continuing education opportunities to grow your career whether you are in a clinical role, part of leadership, or support staff.

Carle Health supports nurse residents with coaching and mentoring from dedicated clinical education specialists. The Carle Nurse Residency Program (CNRP) is a six-month nationally recognized transition-to-practice program that includes two program areas: Ambulatory Nurse Residency Program (ANRP) and Inpatient Nurse Residency Program (INRP) that successfully guide nurses into their careers. Nursing students in the final year of nursing school or nurses who have been away from the bedside for more than five years are eligible to apply.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Nurse residents will work alongside experienced nurses who enjoy teaching and have volunteered to work as trained preceptors for 12 to 20 weeks depending on the track.
