Are you one of those parents who has a teen that just want listen to what you have to say? Or maybe you're that parent that struggles to relate to your child's dreams and ambitions. If you're not either of those types of parents, you must be the type who thinks you know what's best for your child.Whether you have the troubled teen, bad relationship with your child,or think you know what's best for your him/or her. You all have one problem in common "understanding who your child is".
Understanding your child is the foundation to raising a successful, motivated, and inspring person. Many parents lack personal time with their son or daughter as a result, parents lack the necessary approach to know how to successfully raise your child.
Parents you must understand that every child is different, even yours. Your child may not want to be a doctor,or lawyer. He/orShe my want to become a custodian. In whatever your child wants to become, you must support them all the way. Here are some tips to understanding your child better:

1.(Quality time) is very important!!! Spend as much time as possible with your child. You must live life as though the most important thing is your child.Don't allow jobs to take you away from your family. I know that we all work to provide for our,but your providing is vain if your child grows up unproductive in life.

2. (Listen & Learn) you don't know everything!!! The generation of today is alot more progressive than of the generation 20 years ago. You must understand that your child goes through and responds to things in more than one way. Watch body language, and social activity.

3.(Support)Motivating your child is so,so important. Here are ways you can motivate.
If your child wants to become a singer, take them to singing lessons, let them participate in the school choir. Do things that they like to do, not you!!

Well, there you have it! Here is my first blog entry to black america. Please stay posted for other blogs that I have to share with you on how to raise a youth of today.God Bless!
