As 54th District State Representative I am
committed to spearheading an
initiative to IMMEDIATELY enhance the
quality of life in our community.
My intent is to educate residents about resources that can positively impact their daily lives with regards to current issues and concerns. (Please see “issues”)
I will listen to suggestions and concerns of individuals
as well as local civic, religious, and business groups in order to gauge public opinion in the 54th District.
From there I will develop proposals in the
form of a BILL to be considered to be turned
into state law.
Just as I HONORABLY served my country in the United States Marine Corps, I will HONORABLY serve my community. And just as I remained DEDICATED to my studies in order to earn my
degree from Eastern Michigan University, I will
remain DEDICATED to the community.

This young man, my brother is an example of a "Good Black Man." He may not have won this election but he will make a change. I have a son whom I hope will grow up to have the pride and determination that Edison has and has displayed. I am so proud to call him my brother, a father to all, and most importantly a friend.
