Salutations!
As I am writing this blog about me on a diet, I am not referring to losing weight in a physical body. I am giving reference to how one can learn to apply a very useful and wonderful virtue called Humility. Humility is how I put "me" on a diet. I have heard and followed perceptions of words involving the aspects of me. These quotes and sayings include one most popular "Me the important thing in own my life." Perhaps for certain, so have you been subjected to this quote at some time or another-- I agree that you should love yourself. However, how far and fat should one-self be allowing the love for "Me" to gain. Is the love of "me"becoming overbearing that it eats up the regards of others. involving in just be about me. I have grown in knowledge that "Me" can one of your best friend and also one of your worst enemies. When? When you have become so possessed all concerns you have are what only "me" wants, it only what "me" gets. "Everything feeding in a overweight figure that transforms into vanity of "It's all about me." I use the example of "me" so that you will understand how to use this virture of Humitlity to keep "Me" slim and trim.
The virture of humility is defined a characteric of an unpretentious and modest person. A person who does not think of themselves as better or more important than others. A position of remaining low in self-worth, thus taking a lower rank of self. Humility is a practice of using submissive behavior. Allowing others consideration before self. A new viewing of "forgetting self" This is an extreme virture for many, and many struggle with it daily. Truth as I have discovered, there are some who think that because of social stature, educational and financial worth are more important than that homeless, poor and weary persons you find distaste in everyday. Now don't get in an uproar! Of course you have to take care of yourself. However, be careful with the pride and ego's that huge "Me" carry. In due respect, I suggest that one-self produce an submissive equality in denying self and produce postive ethics that allow others to extend over "Me". Humility is how i put "me" on a diet. A virture that allows others to better than I. A virture that makes me less important. Humility is virture that allows my balance of worth to grow into a more confident, loving and practical person to help others in every manner of my living. I don't know it all. I am working at humility to build a better "me"
